The lovely guys at Strawberry Blushes sent us the Naughtibod 2.OH by OhMiBod to review. The Naughtibod along with many other toys by OhMiBod connects and vibrates to the beat of a music device. The louder your music the more intense the vibrations.

The Naughtibod 2.OH also works without music and features 7 different vibration settings for you to enjoy. The toy takes 2 x AAA batteries and comes with 1 meter of cord which is used to connect the vibrator to your mp3 player. There is also an extra slot in this cable that allows you to connect a set of headphones at the same time. The Naughtibod 2.OH is compatible with all devices with a 3.5mm plug (which includes iPhods, iPhones and most mp3 players).

Available in 8 different colours you won’t find any difficulty in picking one that matches the colour of your iPod. The OhMiBod also comes with a velvet storage bag and 1 years warranty.

The OhMiBod Naughibod comes with travel bag, vibe and connector to music device and headphones.

What she says

When I heard about this vibrator I was really impressed with the idea! I think the use of music in the bedroom in general can really help to make the mood and get you going as a couple, but a vibrator connected and in sync with the music!? Well, worth a try and would no doubt be enjoyable. Vibrations along to music gave me the impression that if the right music was chosen this could have a really brilliant effect and add something different to using a vibrator together, however, if the wrong songs were chosen it could be a little odd and disastrous.

We received the product in a slim and small box, which had a similar style to any iPod or music product, and apart from the name and the shape of the vibrator you wouldn’t really know what it was. The vibe is available in many different colours, which also gives the same impression as an iPod or mp3, where you could pick the colour to match your device. The product itself appeared pretty standard, and although I was impressed with the colour range and the soft texture, the appearance isn’t hugely impressive. The small wobbled shaft shape is  small and thin, not the ideal size to be used internally but I guess can be used to tease and as a different form of foreplay. The toy can be used with an iPod, iPhone, mp3, smartphone or with a guitar! Sounds like the ideal fun experience for musical couples!

When using the OhMiBod, Mr A had complied 2 playlists for us to experiment with, a ‘Slow and Sensual’ and ‘Pulsing Passion’, see above. We used these to experiment, with a few different types of music to see which worked best for us. We tried this out before getting passionate, to get the connection to the device right and test it to see what the vibrations were like. We used our iPad and the Spotify playlists, along with a small speaker to plug into the other side of the wire connecting the vibrator to the iPad. We have a Lowdi speaker which uses bluetooth, but this seemed to interrupt the connection to the vibrator so we used a small plug-in speaker to plug into the device.

I found the vibrations arousing yet funny when they connected to a song I knew and enjoyed trying to feel the bass of the song through the vibrations, like you would a giant speaker. We tried out different songs in the moment of passion and some just didn’t work for me, when both the song and the vibrations failed to get me going. But then good old Justin Timberlake and his charm, along with the satisfying vibrations of the music, really helped to get us both into the mood. We did have to stop and change the music every now and then when the vibrations weren’t quite enough for the mood and the music wasn’t quite right. This can be a little fiddly and could ruin the mood if you’re not too careful, but we managed to find another song quickly and bring us to the moment where we both wanted more.

The vibrations when the music was loud and on some tracks was very impressive, and the right songs with the right vibrations really helped the mood. I really enjoyed the novelty of this vibrator, and I really want to experiment with the use of it and with the tracks used. I also want to try the 7 speed vibrator without music involved to see how good it is as a normal vibrator. This product does require some patience when the song finishes, if the beat isn’t enough for the moment and if the song really doesn’t put you in the mood. This is the charm of this product though, and can be really teasing when done right. Whilst the novelty of this product is exciting, it’s not completely for me in it’s shape, style and quality. For the novelty and being a normal 7 speed vibrator also, it is a real bargain, and it is the perfect product for a musical couple who want to add a bit of their passion to the bedroom!

What he says

There’s not really much for me to say about the Naughibod from a male perspective. I did enjoy creating a musical playlist for this toy and then seeing Miss K’s reaction to some of the songs. I created the playlist based on the songs I thought would work well, when actually using the toy some of the songs didn’t vibrate how I was expecting. Because of this, like Miss K mentioned we had to skip a few songs. In future when creating my new playlist for Miss K I’d have the vibe connected while collating the music to ensure each song works well with the Naughibod.

The look of the vibe is quite basic and clean, it’s non-phallic and quite small meaning I don’t feel threatened by it one bit. I think it’s cool that it comes in 8 different colours all of which match the colours iPods are available in. As the toy is made from a hard, inflexible material the vibrations seem more powerful/strong compared to silicone vibrators, I’m guessing this is a good thing for Miss K.

Tips

  • Experiment with your music collection and see which songs suits your personal session. We recommend trying out songs with the Naughtibod.
  • Get your partner to create you and intimate playlist. That way if you do use it without him, he’ll feel like he’s been a part of your session.
  • Try this out with the vibrations, before getting intimate for maximum effect.
  • Use lube to aid use.
  • Don’t forget it can be used as a 7 speed vibrator also!
  • Use as an alternative foreplay to spice up your sex life!

Rating

Personally, I felt that it wasn’t big enough to be used inside and not shaped well enough for clitoral stimulation. The hard material, whilst carrying vibrations well, just wasn’t soft enough for me. Overall, this toy is a great novelty, is powerful, seductive and perfect for music-loving couples!

We give this 7/10
