One of the things you might not know about Miss K and Myself is our passion and drive every Movember to support the Movember cause in any way we can.

What is Movember?

During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of millions of moustaches around the world. With their “Mo’s” men raise vital funds and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer and mental health. As an independent global charity, Movember’s vision is to have an everlasting impact on the face of men’s health.

What we do?

Over the last 6 years every November I’ve devoted my upper lip to Movember. Having had both Grandads suffer from Prostate cancer it’s a charity I’m devoted to help spread the message about the great work they do for Men’s Health. But Movember isn’t just for males (Mo Bros), there’s so many ways you ladies (Mo Sistas) can help take part. Three years ago I came up with a project that allowed Mo Bros and Mo Sistas to help show support and spread the message. This project was called Gallery of Mo.

Gallery of Mo is a website created to encourage people to donate to the Movember charity, this is done using art. With the help of a team of talented artists Gallery of Mo offers every person who donates through our website a portrait of themselves with a moustache (or a Mo’trait as they’re now known). Last year with the help of 174 artists who created 599 portraits we were able to raise just under £12,000 for Movember…this year it’s our mission to raise more.
